Jaime Lyn Barney

Asset Manager

As Asset Manager, Jaime is responsible for the long-term operational health and performance of her portfolio. Prior to joining Evernorth, she has worked in affordable housing in Vermont for over 20 years.  She began her career in 2001 with the Vermont State Housing Authority and earned her Occupancy Specialist Certification.  She then worked for Cathedral Square Corporation where she was an on-site Property Manager and earned her Tax Credit Compliance Specialist Certification, building relationships and working with multiple funding agencies.  It was during this time, she really developed her passion for housing.  In 2014, with her knowledge and experience, she was successful in helping to start a local Property Management company and ensuring the company’s financial success.  Jaime is also a past and now present member of the Education Committee with the Vermont Housing Managers Association.

Jaime is a native Vermonter and lives with her two daughters Ava and Macy and their dog Phoebe.  She loves being a mom first and most definitely prefers the summertime months in Vermont, enjoying the warmer months outside as much as possible while spending time with her family and friends.
