Community Investments Specialist
Lisa serves as the Community Investments Specialist, taking lower-tier property transactions from the development phase to approval and closing, coordinating the internal transition of investments from the Community Investments Group to the Asset Management Group, and assisting Asset Management with consents and waivers. Lisa joined NNEHIF in 2000 with almost 15 years of real estate development and legal associate experience, including two years at The Boulos Company in Maine as a development officer, three years at York Cumberland Housing Development Corporation (Avesta Housing) as a Development Officer, and seven years at UNUM Corporation as a Legal Associate within their Investment Division.
Lisa received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire and is working towards a Graduate Certificate in English as a Second Language at the University of Southern Maine. She is an active literacy volunteer with the refugee and immigrant community in Portland, Maine and has been trained as a Volunteer Housing Coach at ProsperityME for their Supporting Immigrant Tenants Program. Lisa is actively engaged in the community and loves hiking, being outdoors, and trying new recipes to share with others.
