Director of Community Investments

As Director of Community Investments, Regan is responsible for managing the pipeline of Evernorth’s syndicated Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) investments.

Regan spent 10 years working with affordable housing developers, local community development corporations, neighborhood health centers, youth organizations, and public housing authorities to raise capital and develop high impact projects in New York City, Washington, DC, and Boston after receiving a bachelor’s degree in political science from Clark University in Worcester, MA. While working in Boston, Regan earned a Masters of Business Administration from Boston University in 2008.

Most recently, Regan served as Executive Director to the Massachusetts Community and Banking Council (MCBC), a collaborative membership organization focused on federal and state Community Reinvestment Act modernization efforts. Prior to MCBC, Regan was a Senior Manager in the affordable housing practice of CohnReznick LLP, a national tax, accounting, and consulting firm. Working with institutuional investors, Regan managed the review of LIHTC syndicators and their fund offerings. Regan was a contributing author to firm publications and spoke at industry conferences.

Having returned to Maine in 2014 to raise her young family, Regan enjoys working at Evernorth’s downtown Portland office and living in the area where she grew up.
