Sixty-Five Permanently Affordable Apartments Open at Fort Ethan Allen in Colchester

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 28, 2025 Colchester, Vermont – Champlain Housing Trust and Evernorth celebrated with community members, state officials, and public funders at Fort Ethan Allen in Colchester Monday, marking the completion of 65 new permanently affordable apartments. The apartments, across three buildings, were completed in phases over the past five months.

Picker House Lofts Celebrates Grand Opening in Lewiston, Maine

This week, a ribbon-cutting celebration was held at Picker House Lofts, marking a brand-new chapter for the historic Continental Mill on Cedar Street in Lewiston, Maine. This redevelopment has transformed the formerly vacant building into 72 homes, offering a mix of market-rate and income-restricted apartments to meet the growing housing needs in the community.

Evernorth Closes Multi-Investor Fund

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 25, 2025 Evernorth closed Housing New England, Fund VI on March 19, 2025. This fund will provide equity to finance affordable housing in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. 16 investors committed a total of $64,250,000 in equity making Housing New England, Fund VI (HNE Fund VI) a significant financial resource for the region’s critical affordable housing needs. HNE Fund VI’s investors include community, regional and national banks as well as one of the nation’s largest mortgage banking organizations.
