Evernorth Rural Ventures Awarded $70 Million in New Markets Tax Credits from U.S. Treasury Department

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 8, 2026 On December 23rd, 2025, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI) announced Evernorth Rural Ventures, a subsidiary of Evernorth, was awarded a $70 million allocation of New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) to continue its successful economic and community development work in low-income areas. This is Evernorth Rural Ventures’ 8th award.

Central & Main Apartments Honored with Statewide Award for New Green Construction

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 17, 2025 [Windsor, Vermont] — Central & Main, a new 25-unit affordable housing development in downtown Windsor, has been recognized with a Best Builders Award by the Associated General Contractors of Vermont. The award was presented to project builder and AGC/VT member Neagley & Chase Construction at the organization’s annual awards ceremony on December 3 in Burlington. Central & Main won in the category of New Green Construction.

Community Celebrates Ribbon Cutting of 24 Affordable Apartments in West Rutland

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 17, 2025 [West Rutland, Vermont] — Today, the West Rutland community celebrated the grand opening of Marble Village Apartments. Co-owners and co-developers, Cornerstone Housing Partners and Evernorth, partnered on Marble Village Apartments, which will provide essential housing for 24 low- and moderate-income households.
