New Neighborhood to Take Shape in Hinesburg

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 13, 2026 [HINESBURG, VT] – On Tuesday, October 13, 2026 officials gathered at Town Hall to mark will soon be a hive of construction activity on the corner of Riggs Road and Route 116 in Hinesburg to build new affordable housing developed by Champlain Housing Trust and Evernorth. Named Riggs Meadow, 36 new permanently affordable apartments are set to be under construction soon as the first in a multi-phased development that will ultimately include homes for sale, a childcare center and walking trails.

Evernorth Investment Helps Bring New Hope’s House Shelter to Brattleboro

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 30, 2026 [BRATTLEBORO, VT] – Evernorth is helping expand shelter capacity in southern Vermont through its $7 million investment in Hope's House, a new 8,000-square-foot shelter developed by Groundworks Collaborative in Brattleboro, Vermont. The purpose-built facility includes 40 beds, a 33% increase over previous shelter capacity, as well as kitchen facilities, personal storage, meeting space, and dedicated areas for case management and supportive services.

Community Celebrates Grand Opening of 25 Permanently Affordable Apartments in Downtown Putney

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 30, 2026 [Putney, VT] Today, the Putney community celebrated the grand opening of Alice Holway Drive Apartments with a community celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony. Co-owners and co-developers, Windham & Windsor Housing Trust (WWHT) and Evernorth partnered to develop these 25 newly constructed, highly energy-efficient, and permanently affordable apartments in Putney, Vermont.
