[Windsor, VT] Today, the Windsor community celebrated the groundbreaking of Central and Main Apartments. Co-owners and co-developers, Windham & Windsor Housing Trust (WWHT) and Evernorth partnered to develop these 25 newly constructed, highly energy-efficient, and permanently affordable apartments on Main Street in the heart of the Designated Downtown.
The Penacook neighborhood in Concord, New Hampshire, celebrated the ribbon-cutting of Penacook Landing Phase II. This expansion adds 20 new affordable homes, completing the two-building affordable housing community situated along the Contoocook River. Developed by The Caleb Group, Penacook Landing addresses the region’s pressing housing needs. [Belfast, ME] – Evernorth Rural Ventures, a subsidiary of Evernorth, is pleased to announce the closing of an $8.9 million New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) investment for the expansion of Penobscot Community Health Care’s (PCHC) Seaport Community Health Center (SCHC) in Belfast, Maine. The NMTC financing is Evernorth Rural Ventures first investment in Maine and will allow SCHC to respond to a growing medically underserved population.

[Hardwick, VT] – Evernorth Rural Ventures and Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation (MHIC) are pleased to announce the closing of $11.4 million in New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) allocation for the redevelopment of the iconic “Yellow Barn” in Hardwick, Vermont. The NMTC funding supports the construction of a new 25,137 square foot food business accelerator building and the adaptive reuse of the vacant, historic 4,762 square foot yellow dairy barn for use as a retail shop, collectively called the Yellow Barn Business Accelerator.
