Champlin Place, a newly constructed affordable housing community in Rochester, New Hampshire, recently celebrated its grand opening. This development, designed for residents aged 62 and over and built by EasterSeals New Hampshire, offers 65 one- and two-bedroom apartments, all of which are already occupied, with a waiting list now in place. The independent living center includes amenities such as common rooms, laundry facilities, and a lending library.

Located at 54 Healthcare Drive, Champlin Place is not an assisted living facility but offers services for residents who need extra help with daily living activities, such as medication management, bathing or other aspects of daily life. An adult day program is also available for additional support.

Champlin Place apartments are income-restricted, with 25 units reserved for households earning no more than 30% of the area median income. The complex is equipped with elevators, indoor mail delivery, a community and social room, on-site parking, outdoor leisure spaces, and accessibility features for residents with mobility needs.

Evernorth is proud to have invested in Champlin Place and was honored to join the celebration. Led by Easterseals NH, this project is a significant addition to the region’s affordable housing options.

The grand opening event was attended by Governor Chris Sununu, Senator Maggie Hassan, Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Congressman Chris Pappas, Rochester Mayor Paul Callahan, and other notable figures.
