The newly restored historic Gafney Home in Rochester, NH, officially opened, providing 21 affordable apartments for people aged 62 and up. Congratulations to the Community Action Partnership of Strafford County and everyone who contributed to making this project a reality.
The restoration of this 1894 historic Gafney Home for the Aged was made possible by a network of supporters from the community, including local businesses, banks, and committed individuals, along with essential funding and resources from city, state, and federal government agencies.
This collaborative effort ensures that these homes will continue to serve the community and preserve a meaningful piece of Rochester’s history for years to come. Evernorth is proud to be an equity investor in these homes and similar projects throughout Maine.
